reality is sad

The picture above represents 50$ worth of art supplies.

4 sketching pencils (with comp. eraser and pencil sharpener)
4 watersoluble graphitone pencils,
2 onyx pencils (medium and dark)
6 Micron pens
and a pair of needle nose pliers

No paper. No paint. No brushes.
Just some very basic drawing tools. And a pair of pliers.
And if I'd known it was going to come with a pencil sharpener, I'd have forgone purchasing one the other day - another 5 dollars. Not that's it's lost money - they do in fact wear out and need frequent replacing.

Art is not free. Or cheap.
